tablet-fun.deThe tablet PC’s ascent into the mainstream market as a basic computing and internet access device of choice was a rather abrupt one, if you’re an adherent of the idea that the Apple iPad was the true catalyst for its ascendancy. I’m not writing about who started the tablet computer revolution, so let’s keep going towards my point.

Up until recently, you’d be more likely running your entire internet on a desktop or laptop/notebook computer (operating system is sorta irrelevant). They had varying degrees of portability, but they weren’t quite as portable as you would want them to be. You couldn’t really take it into the Continue reading »

It was when I found that my arrival was a burden to many of them in the working area, I became cautious. They approached me with a smile which I mistook for having considered me as a member in the family. Each and every approach made me feel that it was an outward projection and the smile was not from the heart. I mean it. That reminded me an idiomatic phrase “ a snake in the grass”. I felt at ease at every single look for I was always innocent.

It was then I learned the cruelty of hearts around me. If everybody is clever, I decided to be cleverer. They appointed someone to take over the credits of my hard work. I decided to stay aloof. They were totally upset . I proved intelligent.

Professional jealousy is a crime if one is really devoted to God. The third eye watches everything. With this in mind I kept going tolerating everything that happened around me. “God is Great” – he has opened another door of  Continue reading »

Why do the arts matter? Many people who grew up with a love of music, dance, painting, or theater are actively invested in preserving these things in American culture. Exposure, advocacy, and fundraising are essential to non-profit artistic organizations, and most of them employ public relations and communications specialists who can help them reach out to the media to find these things. Arts communication managers work for symphonies, ballets, museums, theaters, and other  Continue reading »

classroomToday, technology has step-in every area of our lives. It is into every possible field making our lives easier and much better. It is into various fields including our education systems. Both students and teachers benefit from technology. It helps them understand and assimilate things in a better way. Let’s take a look about the benefits of technology in the education sector.

Students have found it easier to understand things better in the classroom as they taught with the visuals, which mean they can exactly watch a video of a particular topic which is more effective than the monotonous audio they get to hear from their instructors.

bottlesEssential oils have been used since the earliest civilizations to improve health and quality of life. Learn about their early history.

The Ancient History of Essential Oils

The healing and aromatic properties of essential oils are not something that has been newly discovered. The use of essential oils has been seen pretty much as far back as we have a written record. Though they sometimes go out of style, people always end up turning back to essential oils to help improve their quality of life.

The ancient civilizations of Egypt, China, and India were the first known peoples to use essential oils for medicinal purposes. They also used them for aromatic purposes, religious ceremonies, and in cosmetics. The Egyptians in particular were very forward thinking in their uses Continue reading »

Oceanic Radio

There’s a really good reason why they call it popular music. From the 40′s through today, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know a lot of popular songs. From Dean, Frank and the Andrews Sisters to Mick and Paul to Madonna and Lady Gaga. Everyone of every age loves somebody. Or, to quote an oldie but a goodie from Dean Martin, “everybody loves somebody sometime.”

Random Thoughts

Did Jesus intend to create a church, or did the church create Jesus?

Geology is the study of time and pressure. History is the study of people and trends.

Occasionally when I’m walking around, I see one sock or one shoe laying around. It has me wonder where the other sock or shoe is. How does one not notice a sock or shoe falling off them when walking outside?

If one can’t provide self care for themselves, how can they expect others to do it for them? Spiritual life isn’t easy. It’s not something “out there”. It requires commitment and is a part of life that needs to be lived moment by moment. We need to face any illusions about what spirituality is or isn’t. We have to see what is Continue reading »
