XM25 rifleThe U.S. army has begun using a futuristic rifle that fires radio-controlled ‘smart bullets’.

The XM25 rifle uses bullets that are programmed to explode when they have travelled a set distance, allowing enemies to be targeted no matter where they are hiding. The rifle has a range of 2,300 feet, making it possible to hit targets which are well out of the reach of conventional rifles. Commander YellingThe new base commander, touring his recently acquired responsibility with his officers, decided that he needed to set an example. He turned to a group of low ranking personnel, singled one out, and barked, “Soldier, get your butt over here!” The young man ran over, popped to attention and saluted. Shocked WomanA soldier, stationed as a peacekeeper in Afghanistan, received a “Dear John” letter from his girlfriend back home. It read as follows: Dear Gary, I can no longer continue our relationship. The distance between us is just too great.
