You won’t find any of the items on this list in the Collectibles or Motors sections on eBay; rather, the strangest auctions usually wind up in the Everything Else section. Here, in no particular order, are 7 of the weirdest items ever put up for bid on the popular auction site.
Mummified Fairy
Found at a yard sale, this strange creature is definitely unnerving to some. It’s apparently the desiccated corpse of a fairy (?) and it’s surreal enough to put off some people who come around it. The piece has an otherworldly, black-magic feel to it, and it’s not for the faint at heart.
Dismembered Body Movie/Halloween Prop
It was originally sold as a “Real Doll” and used for display purposes, but this item has found a second “life” as a Halloween prop of the highest order. It’s made of top-quality silicone material, and feels very lifelike to the touch. For someone with a vivid imagination (and a twisted sense of humor), the possibilities are almost endless.
Silicon Foreskin Replacement
This one borders on the inappropriate, but we can see how some would find it useful. Circumcised men can find out what they’ve been missing all along with this tapeless foreskin replacement; apparently, over 200,000 men are interested in foreskin restoration.
Mutant Cucumber
You may have heard of or seen a worm masquerading as a plant, but you’ve probably not seen a plant that looks like a worm. This 100% organic find is a must-have for any oddities collection; it’s definitely one of a kind as it’s perishable.
iMac Rodent Cage
This unique item is made from a blue iMac shell (don’t worry, it’s had all its innards removed), and it comes with the keyboard and mouse (we don’t know if it works or not). There were no toxic parts or supplies used in the cage’s construction, and there are no sharp edges. It was billed as a rodent cage, but it would probably be best suited to a hamster as they don’t chew on things nearly as much as a rat, gerbil or mouse would.
The Meaning of Life
Who knew that you’d find all the answers on eBay, of all places? None of US know the meaning of life, but apparently at least one person has figured it out—it was placed up for bids on the auction site (the starting bid was just $10.50). Who knew that finding out what life’s all about could be so cheap?
$100 Bill Toilet Tissue
For everyone who wants to feel like Donald Trump when they take a restroom break, this novelty toilet tissue fits the (ahem) bill quite nicely. It lists for $5.99 a roll on eBay, and the seller claims that it’s printed throughout the entire roll and completely functional.
There are thousands upon thousands of items put up for sale on eBay each and every day, and they range from the mundane to the outlandish. These are just a small number of the weird things people have sold online—why not go there yourself and see what you can find?
